Implementation of the Project Development Cooperation - “Implementation of the Eurocodes in the Republic of Moldova”

Study and consultation stay of experts from the Republic of Moldova in Prague

The aim of the stay of experts from the Technical University of Moldova in Chisinau was to consult Czech experts from the Institute of Rock Structure and Mechanics of the ASCR and the Klokner Institute on the selection and determination of national parameters for the purpose of processing Moldovan national annexes to selected parts of Eurocode 6 (Design of masonry structures) and Eurocode 8 (Design of structures of earthquake resistance). As part of the stay, Moldovan experts received specific recommendations, methodology and procedures for calculating selected national parameters that would enable them to prepare relevant national annexes taking into account geographical conditions in the Republic of Moldova in the design of building structures.
