Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with The State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus (Gosstandart) /posted 23. 5. 2016/

On the occasion of the 8th Session of the Joint Commission for Economic, Industrial and Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Belarus, held on May 19 in Minsk, Memorandum of Understanding between the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ)and Gosstandart was signed.

5th meeting of the Working group on standardization, metrology and conformity assessment /posted 30. 3. 2016/

On 21 March 2016 ÚNMZ has hosted the 5th meeting of Czech-Russian Working group on standardization, metrology and conformity assessment which was held in the Framework of the 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Russian Federation and Czech Republic. Plenary meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission took place in the congress hall of the Prague InterContinental hotel on 23 March 2016.

The annual session of Advisory Group on Market Surveillance (MARS) was held from 24 to 25 June in Prague.

Meeting on cooperation in the field of Eurocodes between Czech Republic and Republic of Moldova /posted 12. 6. 2015/

In the framework of a long-standing cooperation with Czech Development Agency representatives of UNMZ and Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of the Republic of Moldova discussed from 8 to 12 June 2015 possible mutual cooperation between both countries in the field of Eurocodes.

Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with Serbian Ministry of Economy /posted 16. 3. 2015/

On the occasion of the 8. Session of the Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Serbia held on March 11 in Belgrade, Memorandum of Understanding between the Office and Serbian Ministry of Economy was sign.

ÚNMZ implements another project of the Czech Development Agency in the Balkan region /posted 3. 2. 2015/

Within the framework of development cooperation project the Memorandum of Understanding between the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing and the Institute for standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina was signed in Sarajevo in January 2015.

Visit of Chinese delegation /posted 6. 6. 2014/

Representatives of Chinese institutions AQSIQ (General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China) and CAPEC (China Association of Plant Engineering Consultants) led by Mr Zhang Gang (Counsellor of the State Council of China) visited the Office on 6th June 2014.

Prague hosted the 54th meeting of the members of the Waldemar Hellmich Kreis Society /posted 11. 6. 2012/

This society is an honorary association of senior personalities from industry, commerce, government and science. They are appointed by the German Standards Institute DIN.
